Patty Monahan was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, lived in Hamburg, Washington D.C. and Madrid before moving to Birmingham, MI. She has two teenage daughters and a son. She’s adventurous, a foodie, enjoys reading and photography, believes in yoga and meditation, and loves helping others. Our Whole Village is the result of her lifelong passion for traveling and her newfound mission of becoming the best parent she can be.

Our Whole Village curates travel adventures that help families connect with the world, its people and cultures. We look for transformative experiences that nurture important values in our children while helping us parents grow with them. We want families to create long-lasting memories and raise good global citizens while making a difference in the world.
